HERNIA REPAIR
A hernia is a weakening within the abdominal wall that allows contents of the abdominal compartment to be pushed out of the normal confines of the abdomen. Some hernias are present at birth, but many are acquired with normal aging, or are due to previous abdominal incisions and incomplete healing of the abdominal wall.
